WHO WE ARE
DANCESPORT is one of the most physically demanding and mentally challenging pursuits available to anyone, regardless of age or ability. As in any sport, the requirements of fitness, discipline and training are the keys to ultimate success, yet the learning process is good fun, and the skills learned from the very beginning can be used with confidence at any dance occasion. We design classes where the average person, who has never danced, can improve their everyday posture, fitness and self-confidence, while learning a skill they can use at any dance occasion. The friendly staff at Dance Zone understand that the hardest step in learning to dance is walking into a dance studio, and will do their best to make you feel welcome from the beginning. Our studio offers dance tuition in Ballroom and Latin American dancing – from Monday to Friday, 12:00-21:00 - through private, group and practice lessons.
INSTRUCTORS
William Sabisa has been teaching at Dance Zone since August 2006. He is a friendly, reliable, responsible and very creative person with an excellent ability to interact and teach people.
Svetlana Diergaardt has been with the studio since January 2007 and has danced since a young age. She is a hardworking, friendly, neat and organized person. Using her skills she is able to draw out the best in pupils she works with.
Our instructors are regularly trained by internationally accredited professional dance teachers to keep them on par with the standard of international dancing, thus giving each DANCE ZONE member the best Namibia has to offer.
